So, I added a 50/50 partition to my firecube storage using a thumb drive. Now, when I install an app, it goes to the sd card and the logo on my apps screen is missing. Is there a solution to this problem or do I need to remove the external storage?

It does that on my fire stick as well, usually when I click on the app and run it and once you exit it, the icons tend to load up.
It doesn't for me even after reboot. It's frustrating me
I did format it prior and I let the device format it too. Thank you for your comment, I will read your link
