I've used iptv-epg for several years and never had an issue, If you need hand holding, its not for you, but if you are able to read the forums and find your own help amongst the past threads and watch the tutorial video's, it does exactly what its supposed to do and works very well for how I use it.
I have had several interactions with the owner via the forum and each of my requests for new adds and fixes have been implemented within 24 hours of me posting them.
As with everything, some will have issue, and some won't. For me, it works well. I had also used xeev (xtream-editor), tried m3u4 and even edited my own via notepad. I found iptv-epg to be the best solution for me. (I have four iptv services and only use around 200 of the channels in my guide)
m3u4.com is better than XEEV and free. Still a bit of a limited guide but worth a try
