IPTV on TV only works with cellular and not WIFI

by Ronaldo2355

Hey,

I've been using my IPTV channels for the last two years but now I've got a problem. My channels buffers and I can't watch my HD channels when my TV is connected to our WIFI.

But when I connect my TV to my cellular (that I use on phone) the buffering does NOT happen and everything works fine.

So it must be something with my WIFI. What can this problem be and how can I fix it?

Sounds like your isp is throttling you. Try vpn

fjuman

couple suggestions:

  1. try the service directly on cellphone using wifi or pc to help determine if issue is with TV.

  2. get a trial on another service and see how it works on tv

  3. try using a vpn, get a trial on one like PIA vpn.

Try using a VPN.

Could be your isp throttling but Have you run a speed test using wifi? If that's slow even if its not try changing wifi channels.. Give that a try first. If you don't know you'll need to access your router settings.. It might also be worth changing your dns server's also in settings to open dns if you haven't already

if you looking for an iptv provider with free test and best quality servers with no buffering check out primiptv.com right now

Did you try restarting your router?

Home network issues, wifi router issues, internet provider is slowing you down because it detects youre stewing IPTV or just streaming/downloading a ton of data, etc etc. Could be any number of issues.

Plug your box (do you have a box??) into your router directly and see if problem persist. If it doesn't, it's your wifi

If the vpn works let us know because I run a cut the cord business and potential throttling is a concern. So sometimes an ISP has caught on to the http link for your m3u and has flagged it as pirated and can throttle it. But in some cases and I actually tested this out, the device itself was throttling the stream. I watched a major sporting event on the same channel espn in th e same wifi network with the same m3u and epg. I used a fire cube on one right by the router and wifi signal tested good. It was buffering a lot. Then I looked at my tanix Tx3 box and i6 didn't buffer even once same exact wifi testing. I think the fire devices being amazon are throttling any video stream that does not come from approved sources period. I know for a fact that certain streaming devices will do this and they explicitly say so. My advice if you dont want to use vpn avoid amazon products and mainstream android boxes and this could fix the throttling issue.
