I am considering signing up to an IPTV provider, but it seems this is only possible if I buy a mag322w1 box.

At the moment, I don't have any box, so I need to buy something; however, the mag322w1 has pretty bad reviews and means I would need a VPN router which is more kit to buy. Plus I would prefer something like an Nvidia Shield as it is more flexible.

I am new to all this. Is it normal that a provider can only use one box? And what might be the reason for this? Presumably there isn't a work around?

Edit - thanks for the replies. The reason I would like to use this provider is they seem to be extremely reliable with no downtime and, importantly for me, also offer two weeks of catch-up on all channels. I've just been a bit off by the requirement to buy a specific box.

In terms of negative reviews, there seems to be some glitch on the 322 and 324 that results in them freezing when the channels are changed. That said, if the provider is as reliable as I have been told, presumably it works for them.

Is there an iptv player that has a built in record feature? Or is there another way to record to schedule a recording of iptv?

Can anyone suggest how to get Smarters IPTV app to work using Iconic Streams? My account is definitely live but every channel comes up with the same message - playback error, reconnecting in 3, 2, 1...

I’m using formuler Z7 with MyTVOnline. The issue I’m having for the past two days is that when I select a episode on VOD I get a pop-up with open with.. option. The player I have in my option is MX player and Kodi. I don’t like it! How can I change it to default player I had before? Please help!

Lately every time i start xciptv and it starts updating all the content, a pop up appears that says, Another process is running in the background, please try again later".

I just click OK and everything continues updating, but I wonder if this is a setting I need to change

I have a great service (beams) but today it just stopped working on wifi. The portal loads up, I can even flick thru all the channels as normal, but when I go to play it won't load. This is on my mag 256 box, and also on GSE IPTV app. When I try with my cell phones data it loads perfectly, so it's definitely down to the wifi.

Any ideas? If it had been blocked the whole menu etc wouldn't load up.

I tried resetting the box but the issue is still there.

I live in a serviced apartment so I don't have access to the router, etc. But I can get them to take a look. It's a Fritz Box router and a dlink repeater or something.

Anybody suggest what I should be looking at to fix this?!

I have been using IPTV Smarters for months and I have been trying to figure out how to remove all of the countries whose languages are not English and I would never watch

I have 2 Amazon Firesticks and I was able to configure one of them months ago and cant find how I did it (I know, dumb)

Hello guys, I use an Amazon FireStick, and use the Tivimate app. But when i try to start a channel, the app crash. I try to restart my FireStick and update the app, but the problem still the same! Any solution ? Little update: it doesn't happen with all channels, maybe it’s my m3u?

My providers tv guide is not great, there are alot of “ no information “ spots. Otherwise I am happy with the content. Could someone please explain how I can make it better without switching providers if that is possible? TIA

Hello guys, I like the TiviMate app for Firestick but I have a little problem with EPG. Some EPG (for italian channels) doesn’t appear, they appear for other channels like France but not for Italian. But when I try on the Smart IPTV app these EPG appear for French channels and the Italian channels. Do you have a solution? (I prefer to use tivimate because on some channels I have a little audio delay and I can adjust that with the tivimate app) Thank for you help guys and sorry for all the post.

I've been watching IPTV on Apple TV 4k on GSE. A couple of days ago, both of my providers streams started freezing every few seconds. It starts again then freezes and keeps repeating the pattern. I've tried Smarters and iPlay apps as well and same thing. When I run my iptv on my computer through VLC it's smooth. I have 200 mb cable internet so that isn't the issues, plus it's worked before. My Apple TV is hardwired to my router. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I cannot use VPN because my provider bans it and I want to travel there at some point in the next months.
